a lot beacuse their society was built around their church

beacuse medical science was very far behind and ignorant so if a new or rare sickness appered which people didint know before they would think of it as witchcraft

they were discouraged to play, create, grow their imagination and express themselves. they were forced to work as adults doing chores and attending to church; boys had to carft, fish, hunt explore and do hard work and girls were forced to help their mothers to sew, cook, and help maintained the house and do chores.

A U.S senator who claimed that more than 200 card carrying communists had infiltrated into the U.S government. This accusations were proven to be untrueand he was later censured by the senate for unbecoming conduct.
2. What feelings of the American psyche or events of the time allowed for McCarthyism to become such a prominent movement in the 1950s?
World War II had just ended, so this allowed McCarthyism to become such a prominent movement in the 1950

He somehow killed the artist’s career. It is something bad that Charlie Chaplin, one of the greatest filmmakers of all time was banned in the U.S for speculated communism, which then with investigations, proven to be something wrong. It is bad for US to have such a bad senator.
